NEW YORK (November 2024) – Pem-America continues giving back to the communities in which it does business, as well as making consistent strides in lessening its carbon footprint. Founded in 1993, the company began as a producer of quilts, and over the past 30 years has grown to include the production of more than 50 private label, licensed products, and store brands. The company’s 400,000 square foot, New Jersey-based distribution center is run on 100% solar power. Pem-America is focused on making recycled and reusable product packaging, and shipments are vacuum packed to reduce the carbon footprint from freighting overseas. Additionally, expanded offerings now include mindfully made bedding, bath and kitchen products, which are produced using 100% recycled plastics or natural fibers, such as cotton and down.

Pem-America supports a wide variety of charitable endeavors through its Pem Cares program. Annually, the company donates more than $500,000. in financial support and in-kind donations to non-profit organizations throughout the globe. Recent partnerships include March of Dimes, Volunteer Now, Housing Works, NYC Cultural Affairs, The Bowery Mission, Overseas China Education Foundation (through Give2Asia), and Project Child Safe. Pem-America believes in giving back to those in need and supporting efforts that better underserved communities.

Pem-America’s Founder and CEO, Wang Ji came from humble beginnings, and despite the company’s growth and success, he has not forgotten his roots.
