PEM team volunteers for the 2024 New York City Marathon helping the event run smoothly and being a part of one of the largest marathons in the world!
The 2024 New York City Marathon will be held on Sunday, November 3. It’s one of the largest marathons in the world, attracting tens of thousands of runners and an enormous crowd of spectators from around the globe.
The marathon follows a 26.2-mile route through New York’s five boroughs—starting in
Staten Island, crossing into Brooklyn and Queens, and then entering Manhattan before looping briefly into the Bronx and finishing in Central Park. Thousands of volunteers support the marathon, providing water, medical aid, logistical support, and encouragement along the course. The PEM team worked to support runners at the finish line with recovery bags and provide other forms of support.
