March of Dimes


March of Dimes is a non-profit organization committed to ending preventable maternal health risks and death, ending preventable preterm birth and infant death and closing the health equity gap for all families. The organization is dedicated to funding lifesaving research, providing programs and education and advocating for vital health equity to create a world where every family, mom and baby are healthy and strong, regardless of wealth, race, gender or geography.

Volunteer Now core mission is to inspire, mobilize, and equip individuals and groups to take action to address pressing challenges, support nonprofits, and strengthen the quality of life in our community.

Housing Works


Housing Works is a New York City based non-profit fighting AIDS and homelessness. They are also known for their social justice activism. As of March 2017, the organization has served 30,000 clients. The organization runs a chain of thrift shops and a bookstore café as social enterprises to support their work and lower dependence on grants and donations. They also provide health care, advocacy, job training, reentry services, harm reduction services.

NYC Cultural Affairs


NYC Cultural Affairs is the department of the government of New York City dedicated to supporting and strengthening New York City’s cultural life. Among its primary missions is ensuring adequate public funding for non-profit cultural organizations throughout the five boroughs. The Department represents and serves non-profit cultural organizations involved in the visual, literary and performing art; public-oriented science and humanities institutions including zoos, botanical gardens and historic and preservation societies; and creative artists who live and work within the City’s five boroughs.
